One-Car Hamilton County Accident Claims Life of Noblesville Woman

July 7, 2011 - Hamilton Co., Ind. - Early on Monday, June 27, a Noblesville resident, Barbara E. Barras, lost control of her car on Ind. 13 at approximately 4:20 a.m. just off of Strawtown Avenue, IndyStar.com has reported.
A representative for the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department said that Barras, 44, crashed her car at a location where the road jogs, hitting a post and flipping over, landing upright.
Air bags deployed inside the 1997 Ford Taurus, but Barras was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene of the Hamilton County accident by emergency medical responders.
The Sheriff's Department said that there were no witnesses to the accident, and no marks on the road indicating Barras slammed on her brakes.
